Rev. David B. Magruder became pastor of Peace With Christ Lutheran Church in 2016. He earned a B.A. in History from Concordia College in Bronxville, NY in 1986 and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis in 1990. He has served Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregations in South Dakota, Minnesota and Wyoming prior to his arrival at Peace With Christ. Pastor Magruder served as a United States Navy Chaplain (Reserve) for 22 years with units of the US Navy, United States Marine Corps and the United States Coast Guard. He is a veteran of the Afghanistan War.
Rev. Andrew Partipilo grew up in Loveland, Colorado, in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains that would shape much of his life. Baptized as an infant into the Roman Catholic faith, Andrew later became agnostic and, during college, a vocal atheist. While studying American history and seeking to better understand references to God in the writings of the nation’s founders, he began reading the Bible and eventually began attending a non-denominational church. While dating his wife, Audrey, he was introduced to the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and developed a deep appreciation for Lutheran theology, particularly the distinction of Law and Gospel and the centrality of Word and Sacrament. Andrew was confirmed into the Lutheran Church before he and Audrey married in 2016. They are blessed with two sons, Ezra and Eli. Andrew studied at Front Range Community College, Colorado State University, and Concordia University Wisconsin before earning his Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He served his vicarage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, Indiana, and taught religion at St. John Lutheran School in Kendallville.
Before entering seminary, Andrew spent eight years as a wildland firefighter and EMT, serving with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services branch and the U.S. Forest Service in Colorado and South Dakota. He later worked for Wright Tree Service, advancing to General Foreman and coordinating crews maintaining power infrastructure throughout the northern Black Hills, eastern Wyoming, and eastern Montana. Outside of ministry, Andrew enjoys ice hockey, mountain biking, hiking, camping, hunting, fly fishing, jiu jitsu, and woodworking. Most of all, he enjoys sharing these activities and the outdoors with his family.
Audrey Partipilo

Audrey Partipilo is grateful for faithful Lutheran upbringing by her parents, Ted and Chris Herrmann. She was brought to the waters of Holy Baptism at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rock Springs, WY when she was just a few weeks old. Her parents moved their family to Riverton, WY, so Audrey and her siblings would be able to attend a Lutheran school. She then attended Trinity Lutheran Church and School from 2 nd – 8 th grade. Audrey began playing the organ for church services in the summer following her 8 th grade year and confirmation due to the need for an additional organist to fill in. She attended Concordia University in Seward, NE and received a degree in both Elementary and Music Education (2009). Following college, she taught at Messiah Lutheran School in Longmont, Colorado and later served there as the Director of Parish Music. She then took a call to teach at Trinity Lutheran School in Riverton, Wyoming and served there until her husband, Andrew, took a job promotion moving the family to South Dakota. Audrey was grateful to stay home caring for their young children for some time. It was not long after that Andrew felt called into pastoral ministry, so the family moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, so he could attend Concordia Theological Seminary (June 2022-May 2026). During Andrew’s time at seminary, Audrey served as the Director of Parish Music at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, Indiana. She is currently working towards a masters in Church Music through Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, and hopes to finish in Fall 2027. Andrew and Audrey are the parents of Ezra (7) and Eli (5).
